How fees work — in plain English

  • We charge the subscription only. Appraisal Ally never takes a cut of an invoice or a per-order fee — run 5 appraisals or 500, the price above is the whole price.
  • When a client pays by card, Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30. That's Stripe's standard processing fee, not ours — it goes to Stripe, and we don't mark it up. (On a $500 invoice that's about $14.80.)
  • You choose who covers it. Pass the processing fee to the client as a line item on the invoice, or absorb it yourself — your call, per invoice.
